We Work Well Together

We want to take a moment to reflect on the amazing accomplishments  we’ve achieved together over these 14 years. Many hours of advocacy and effort to increase the local investment in community health and human services that resulted in achievement of the goal set in 2002:

Replacing the drastic General Fund cuts to Human Services proposed in 2002 with dedicated funding:

Your hard work and persistence have made a significant difference in the well being of families across King County. We are proud of that and we know there is more to do.

At the May meeting, we took a moment to reflect on the agreements for our collaboration that inspired us in 2004. They were refreshed and approved by the group to take us into the next phase of our work together.

Whether you are a recent member, or have been with us since the beginning, please take a moment to review them. They reflect what we already know: that we are a strong and dedicated community accomplishing our goals together.

Please plan to join us at our next General Meeting on September 19th  to learn more about how your participation will shape our success.

Sincerely,
